The Bourgeoisie
and The Proletariat
Conflict theory is one of
many theory in sociology. Conflict theory is main idea of Karl Marx from the
19th century. That theory focus on the inequality of different group in a society.
Karl Marx believed that a society envolved some stage the most important were
feudalism, capitalism and socialism. The upper class called the bourgeoisie and
the poorer lower class called the proletariat. The upper class had a power
because they own the factories. They produce everything people needed and sold
that product to earn living. The poorer class only dependen on the owner factories because they just want to get wages
to make they still living. But the owner class also dependen on poorer class to
worked in they factories.
In a society had a
significant in a economic inequality beetwen the factory owner and the worker.
Mark believed that economic inequality could be change because the working
class realized they were being exploited. They united to created class of
consciousness so they could be stronger and over throw the capitalism status
quo.
Marx created the model of
proposed a society where one group exploited another group economicly the
content could be seeds their own destruction. The thesis in a society is the
bourgeoisie could ran the factories while the lower class working on there. The
lower class only want the state could change antithesis in the capitalism society.
Different group in a society make happy
only one side.
The member of working
class began have on managerial position and creat a middle class that has more
powerfull. That make the upper class bit threatened but they make a new change to against the
power of middle class. The worker class want to change the status quo and the
antithesis can arise from any source of unrest to oppose the thesis. They
looking for a change they are because
they aren’t happy with the situation but the situation always will be repeat. Conflict
theory does a wonderfull job of modeling
the drastic changes class in a society. But conflict theory in the real life
still any question unanswered.
